The following abbreviations are used in the software: 

===== PDA =====
Production data acquisition is used for the information that usually cannot be acquired by a machine.

===== DWH =====
Data Warehouse - This separate database stores the data collected by the MES system in a compact form. The database can be available on site, globally on the intranet or in the cloud.

===== EOL =====
End of Line - The end of a production line. This is an exit point of the workplace at which a finished product or scrap is carried out.

===== ERP =====
Enterprise Ressource Planning.

===== OK =====
Okay parts (produced parts without defects).

===== NOK =====
Not okay parts (produced parts with defects).

===== KPI =====
Key Performance Indicator.

===== MDC =====
Machine Data Collection.

Manufacturing Execution System.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
