====== MES-Terminal ======

The MES terminal is the link between the MES suite and production machines. The MES terminal controls order processing at the machine level and records all production-related data as well as the status of the plant. Physically it is a computer, the MK|workstation, located close by  the machine workstation. Depending on local requirements, the MK|Workstation can be of different design (see illustrations) and have additional equipment (such as printers, barcode scanners, etc.).
