MES-Terminal

The MES-Terminal is the main interface for processing orders. In the figure below, an order is already in progress. As long as no order has been set up, the

In the field Shift the number of parts manually declared as NOK per shift is displayed, in the field Order the number of parts that have been manually declared as NOK parts in this order is displayed.\ Below this, all possible error causes (error codes) for this plant are listed. Via the +1/-1 keys, an error code can be assigned to each part manually declared as NOK. After all unclassified parts have been assigned, this information must be saved (Save at the bottom right).
On the right side NIO components can be set to the status Saved in clarification. This function is relevant for piecework surcharges. If the worker is of the opinion that the plant wrongly declares parts as NOK, he can set these parts to the status Saved in clarification. At the end of the shift, the shift supervisor checks the said NOK components and decides on their status. If the worker is in the right, the components remain in the status Saved in clarification, if they are actually NIO components, these components are counted as NIO components again via the correction quantity in NIO. Parts that have the status Saved in clarification at the end of the shift are credited to the worker as IO parts when calculating the piecework surcharges. With the shift change, the Saved in clarification counter is reset. From the PDC technical point of view, these parts always remain IO parts. The status Saved in clarification cannot make IO parts out of NIO parts.
